Personality Portraits in Bastrop, Texas: Capturing Them Just as They Are
One of my favorite things about photographing kids is capturing who they are right now.
Not perfectly posed. Not matching outfits. Not forcing a smile. Just them.
The funny expressions. The serious looks. The little bit of attitude. The silly side. The things that make you look at a picture years from now and say, “Yep… that was SO them.”
That is why I'm not offering these stinking cute personality portraits in Bastrop, TX (and ummm hello air conditioning!!)!
Let Them Be Themselves
For these sessions, I want kids to come as they are. Let them wear something they love and feel comfortable in. Bring a little bit of their personality into the studio.
I’ll give some gentle direction and prompts to help bring out those natural expressions, but there’s no heavy posing and no pressure to sit perfectly still and smile at the camera for an hour.
These sessions are meant to be fun, quick, easy, and relaxed.
I want the final images to feel like a little snapshot of this stage of life before they grow into the next one.
A Fun Way to Remember This Stage
Kids change so quickly. The silly faces, the attitude, the serious expressions, and all those little things that make them them at this stage of life. They change before we even realize it.
These sessions are a fun way to freeze that and document a little piece of who they are right now.
I'm excited to offer these studio personality portrait sessions of kiddos (or tweens, or seniors, or older college grad because the same applies really) in Bastrop and serving Bastrop, Smithville, Austin, and the surrounding Central Texas area. Here's some images from Miss Olivia's session. You can go here to find out more!
