Abbey's Branding Studio Photoshoot in Bastrop TX

Abbey’s session was such a fun way to get back into studio photography. I've been away from it for several years and she was one of my recent studio sessions. Abbey is a Texas A&M grad who needed some branding photos for her website and portfolio. We had a great time trying out different looks for her branding studio photoshoot in Bastrop, TX.

We started off with a clean, white backdrop and a few accessories. Her purse, mirror and lipstick, and even brought in her mom’s hair chair from the salon next door. We then switched to a more moody, natural scene with a trendy leather chair that lended perfectly with the natural branding session.

It felt so good to be back in the studio after so many years. I was happy to know...I still got it! I’ve missed getting creative with the lighting, changing things up, and seeing all the different looks we can create in one space. I’m so excited to be doing this again in my new Bastrop studio!

Abbey and I even made a fun little branding photography “documentary” together. Watch our behind-the-scenes video on Instagram!
